It is paramount that even if you don’t wish to remain anonymous, that you do keep yourself safe online. Remember, clients won’t always be upfront about their personal lives and you shouldn’t be either. This is an amazing industry but it isn’t always the safest industry, especially to those who are just entering it. Here are some Do’s and Don’ts of our business:

Don’t:-
-
Don’t give out your real name.
 -
Don’t give out bank details, including PayPal.
 -
Don’t give out your personal details – phone number, address, e-mail address, etc.
 -
Don’t tell clients your location.
 -
Don’t tell clients you have children.
 -
Don’t tell clients you have pets.
 -
Don’t give clients your real social media links out.
 -
Don’t post your links to other adult sites unless the site you’re working on says explicitly that you can – it is banned on most sites to do this and it will get you banned too.

Do:-
-
Make up a back story for your adult modelling persona.
 -
Be friendly and playful with the clients – you can give no real information about yourself and build rapport.
 -
If you’ve chosen to be an anonymous model, create a safety plan of strategies that you are going to use to stay anonymous and once that is created, stick to it at all times and review the plan regularly to check it is helping you stay anonymous.
 -
Change your location from where you really are, to a fake location, if location is an option to display on your site.
 -
Remember what your boundaries are! This is your career and you can do whatever you want with it.
 -
Do accustom yourself to the rules on each site.

Your safety is our priority, and no amount of money that a client could offer should trump you being secure, comfortable and safe in your job role.
